- Be observant of your surroundings - Don't zone out. Connect with your senses.
- Eat and Walk Mindfully
- Pause between activities - Let the phone ring few times before answering and think who might be calling. take short, mini-pauses to feel, observe, and consider the present moment.
- Listen wholeheartedly
- Courage - “Whatever I fear, I must face.”
- Reason - WHY
- Attention - A distracted mind is a powerless mind. (Meditation) Or focus on a single thing
- Energy - Take care of your physical body
- Practice Mindfulness - Allow thoughts to flow, don't judge, but simply be aware of what you're thinking.
- Travel or mix up your routine.
- Accept the Truth - Whatever you’re afraid to know lowers your consciousness. Take responsibility, Step on a scale, talk with your gf about the status of your relationship, etc. REALLY Accept it as the truth.
- Compassion - A great way to become more conscious is to search for signs of unconscious cruelty and disconnection in your life
- Desire - When you get clear about what you want, such as by setting a goal, you raise your consciousness
- Intention - “I intend to become more conscious and aware,”
- Do not take things personally - Understand that there are some things that you cant change. Don't also take things too personally (ex: A co-worker running past you saying hi instead of small talk. Maybe he/she has stress on their own and has nothing to do with you)
- Knowledge - Know thyself. Reflect your life on a book, write down your core beliefs of black and white and see how they change.
- Seek honest feedback about yourself - To fix blind spots
- Practice self care
- Stop forecasting - Dont go into What ifs
- Let go of the past.
